1. Nature of Sale

All Buy It Now items are offered as private treaty sales of specialist and collectible goods, described by Mina Dorian. Items are non-fungible and condition-sensitive. These are not mass-produced consumer goods.

2. Condition & Description

Condition descriptions are statements of professional opinion, taking into account age, rarity, and nature. They are not guarantees. Minor wear, defects, age-related characteristics, or manufacturing variations are to be expected and do not constitute faults.

Images form part of the description but are illustrative and non-exhaustive.

3. Buyer Due Diligence

Buyers are responsible for satisfying themselves as to condition, description, and suitability prior to purchase. Requests for additional images, reports, or clarification must be made before completing a Buy It Now transaction.

Completion of purchase confirms the buyer has carried out all due diligence required.

4. Inspection & Handling

Inspection is limited to visual examination only, equivalent to what would be permitted in a specialist showroom.

The following are not permitted:

• Reading or use

• Display or exhibition

• Testing or trial use

• Disassembly or intervention

• Extended handling beyond visual inspection

Any handling beyond visual inspection may result in a deduction for diminished value.

5. Acceptance

Delivery and receipt of the item constitutes acceptance of the item as described, unless a material non-conformity is reported in writing within 48 hours of delivery.

6. Material Non-Conformity (Strictly Defined)

A material non-conformity is limited to a substantial discrepancy affecting:

• Authenticity

• Attribution

• Fundamental identity

The following do not constitute material non-conformity:

• Subjective dissatisfaction

• Condition sensitivity

• Minor wear or age-related characteristics

• Post-delivery changes of opinion

7. Consumer Cancellation Rights (CCR)

Consumers may cancel within fourteen days of receipt under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

Conditions of cancellation:

• The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs

• Returns must be sent using a tracked and insured service appropriate to the item’s value

• Items must be returned in the same condition as supplied

A deduction will be made for any loss in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the item.

For specialist or high-value items, even limited handling may result in a material reduction in value.

8. Consumer Rights Act 2015

Nothing in these terms affects the buyer’s statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Quality and description are assessed in context, taking into account age, rarity, expert opinion, and the non-fungible nature of the item.

9. Payment Processing

Third-party payment processors (including PayPal) are used solely to facilitate payment and do not alter or supersede the contractual terms governing condition, acceptance, or dispute resolution.

Returns Policy Procedure:

 1.Eligibility: Returns are accepted within fourteen days of receipt.

2.Unauthorised Returns: Returns sent without prior notification or outside the statutory cancellation period may be refused or returned to the buyer at the buyer’s expense, except where statutory rights apply.

3.Condition: Items must be returned in the same condition, with all original packaging and documentation.

4.Shipping & Insurance: The buyer is responsible for return shipping and full insurance for the purchase value.
